Then visit the Valley of the Queens in Luxor. The Valley of the Queens is an archaeological site located near the Egyptian city of Luxor, on the West Bank of the Nile, in the City of the Dead.
In ancient Egypt, the wives of the pharaohs were buried here.
The burial ground was used from the beginning of the 18th dynasty, when it served for princes and princesses of royal blood and personalities from the royal court.
The structure of this area resembled a religious and funerary concept, whether because of the nearby Theban Shield, which resembles the pyramids of the Old Kingdom in shape, or the waterfall and caves.
There are two types of tombs in the Valley of the Queens. One consists of only a burial shaft, while the other type is large and has a complex structure.
At the end of the excursion, return to Hurghada by your private car.
